UPDATE OVERLOAD!

Start at the end of this post and it will make a bit more sense.

This picture makes us laugh! We were just walking up the way heading back when Lydia darted for this window. She was pointing and Oohing until we forced her to move on. It was totally a toddler thing to do. And the weird part is, is that she has no idea what any of those candies taste like! We never give her candy!

I remember riding on one of these!

Virginia City was fun to go to. Its totally a cowboy town you see in the older movies. Of course now made for tourists.
When we stayed to long though this is what we got... a little whine and a pulling on the pants till we started moving.

I think one of the funnest things we did was swim in the out side pool. It was heated perfectly.

Our hotel was on top of a giant casino and often Lydia and I wandered through it so get to our destination. It was neat to see, not so great to linger though. We like the smoking laws in Utah.

This is our second conference we had in Reno, NV. This is our hotel obviously.

Yes, they are 1/3 the size of a watermelon. Tim painted pictures of some of our biggest adventures thus far of our marriage and I just doodled a love path that we like to follow.

Our 5Th Anniversary was great! We happened to show up at the Texas Roadhouse at the same time our good friends Chuck & Stacie were there for dinner, so we ate together! It was fun! We went to Color Me Mine were we each painted a BIG mug for our future ice cream, hot choc, soup, etc. moments. ^

Easter was fun inside for it was raining. Its funny to see how often she still plays with her eggs.

Lydia loved that we "dressed up" and got to squish the "yummy" stuff as she can now say. Also you can see the progress of our remodel!

Lydia is experienced in so many things. I'm not afraid of making messes with her. I like to create learning experiences and good memories, so this time we made sugar cookies!

We spend Sundays with Tim's family, mostly his parents who live around the corner. Lydia adores her Grandpa Hereth, their relationship is precious!

We have 3 conferences to go to this year. (for Tim's job) The first started in Logan, UT. It snowed heavily almost the whole time we were up there so we were inside the Hotel, car, or store for entertainment. Continental breakfast was some what of entertainment we looked forward to as a family. We still had a great time though!

She loved her cake and so did Tim :)

Lydia turned 1 a few weeks after Tim's birthday! I made her a Giant Cup Cake for her to dig into...^

Tim is 28! He requests every year for Apple Crisp instead of cake or pie and from experience the candles don't stand up very well in it for the way I make it.

Lydia L O V E S Top Ramen

LYDIA ABSOLUTLY LOVES TOP RAMEN! I TYPICALLY DONT GIVE HER WHOLE HELPING AT ONE TIME BUT SHE WAS EATING SO FAST AND I WAS TRYING TO EAT MYSELF, SO I JUST DUMPED IT ON HER TRAY AND SHE HAD A BALL!!!

I THINK BEEF FLAVOR IS HER FAVORITE.

YOU LIKE MY COOKIE STAND? JUST PRACTICING MY FLOWERS.

WE WENT FOR AN ADVENTURE FOR SOMETHING NEW AND CAME HOME WITH A WASHER AND DRYER (BOX) FORT. WE ENJOYED EATING SNACKS IN OUR "HOUSE," AND PLAYING PEEK A BOO.

I THINK SHE SPOTTED ME TRYING TO CAPTURE A PICTURE OF HER PLAYING. THIS HOLE IS ONLY BIG ENOUGH TO TO FIT A PINKY FINGER IN.

A MIXTURE OF MEMORIES

I was deleting some pictures and found some that sparked a particular feeling of some sort. So I thought I would share...

We had so much fun being the Flinstones this last Halloween!

And for not having a pattern, I am so pleased with how our costumes turned out. (Sorry hun for posting this funny picture of us, we never got a very good one)
We went on a hike for my 24th birthday and the whole time Lydia was just cracking up because my hair was flying all over the place. Haha, I think this trip takes 1st for Best Birthday!
4th of July with the Clays... good times!

I found this 4T dress on clearance and thought it was perfect for the 24th of July Baby Contest she was in, so i made it her size (Lydia was almost 5 months)!

Lydia just... fell asleep. Like turning off a light! Precious! (6 months old)

My Thoughts Latley

Cauliflower is probably my favorite veggie to eat.
I do not like to sweep or put the laundry away but I don't mind everything else.
My favorite smells are: soil, home cooked bread, rain, Tim,...
Scrap booking is definitely not one of my skills, but I love to make cards.
I love LoVe LOVE my jeans.
Just a few minutes... Just a few more minutes...
Check. Check. Check...
This computer chair hurts me, but I am grateful for it.

Anyway,

Lydia wasn't sure why we would set up the camera, step back, then just look at it; overall i loved how our winter pictures turned out! I just wish there was snow around us at the time.

Our Christmas card! I actually liked our clutter card this year! I didn't know if we would but It covers a good hand full of memories and makes it a great way to remember the year we had!

Lydia at 9 months. I took this picture in my family room, can you believe it?

Lydia loves her books! What more can I say.

St. George

Our 4th anniversary we celebrated by hiking! Yay, I love hiking! This picture is Angels Landing at Zions National Park. It was tough but so much fun. We had so many people ask if we were going to the top... silly question, OF COURSE! The peak you see behind Tims head is where we stood as a family successful. Besides the pregnant women who actually go all the way (we didnt see any), we were told that Lydia (almost 7 weeks old) was the youngest baby seen at the top. Yay Lydia!Lydia enjoyed the ride as you can see.

A few years later...

We bought a house in Salem! Knowing that it was going to be a project house this is what it looked like when we got it. It has been a LOT of work and STILL is! The boxes are from our move in and the 3 little snowmen on the steps are my first attempt to make this house look a little homey.

This isnt the most updated picture of what we have done with the house but its pretty close and at least it shows we are making some progress. We still have SO much to do.

We celebrated our 3rd anniversary in Hawaii!

We had a BLAST! Highly recommended!

Tim wanted it known that his high school sweet heart has... moved on to someone new. It was a bitter/sweet day. You can see his new truck in the the second house picture.

And last but by far not least, Lydia Jane Hereth has been added to our family. She was born March 19, 2010 at 7lbs 10oz and 21inches long. She is SO much fun and is such a joy!

Orem or Spanish Fork... hmm, which one, which one...

July 23, 2008 2:00PM I was sitting at work nervous as can be to hear of some life changing information from Tim. Wondering if i was going to find out at work or if i was going to have to wait until I got home. 2:03PM came as i decided to look at my phone just in case he happened to call when I then notice that i received a Text Message. My heart speed as i rushed to open the message... it WAS from Tim!
A few weeks before this intense moment i was of course sitting here at work, doing my job when I received an email from Tim telling me about this "MAG" job up in Orem. MAG stands for Mountainland Association of Governments. Yes, its a Government job. He stated in his email that he about had teary eyes when he found this posting for it fits his interests and his qualifications perfectly! So he applied and had his first interview with them on Monday the 21Th of July. He said that he thinks that it went well and that they would probably call him in about a week or so for a second interview. They ended up calling him the following day on Tuesday to see when they can set up the second interview. They scheduled it for Wednesday the 23.
My wonderful, wonderful, husband who graduated with his Bachelors in December and has been prayerfully applying to many different places to finally get a job worth his while and interest, informed me that he got the job. The second interview according to Tim was basically a "tell us about yourself and how would you like to work with us"
He starts officially August 18Th.
We are both so excited for the changes that will soon take place. Yes, we are looking for a house. We are not yet sure where we will buy one though. His job is in Orem off of 800 north, but we are currently living in Spanish Fork and LOVE IT! So, we will see.
I am so proud of him!

UPDATE

I figured because i have had SO MANY requests to update our blog, then i thought that I would. Unfortunately I am writing this at work, therefore cannot upload some pictures. Boo hoo.

I am not very good at writing about my life, i feel i do better speaking to someone face to face. In fact, i would prefer speaking to someone face to face! Though understanding that everyone that i would like to speak to, does not have the time for a phone conversation (nor do i) i have this blog. The question is... What do i say?

I am a Provo, UT born; Othello, WA raised; 21 year old, oldest of 8 siblings, wife of 2 years now, no kids, and college student at Utah Valley University for P.E. & P. R. (outdoors), MSR @ UCCU, Relief Society Teacher, Single Adult Leader, and daughter of God. Now what am i missing...

Timothy Edward Hereth is my husband. He is my encourager in life! Never have i met a man with work skills like him, as charitable as him (look at the meaning of charity, you know that there isn't a better word to decribe that personality) He is my protector, my gardian (truly! his skills in karate are so confident and careful) He is very smart and SO MUCH fun! Also funny! haha, very funny! He is romantic... oh, his eyes are... an eternal blue...

WOW, sorry! I totally got lost in my daydream! Haha!
Tim was born in Salina, Kansas (which i finally got to tour last week!) He lived a few years in Dallas, Texas and was raised mostly in Spanish Fork, Utah. He turned 25 in March and is the youngest of 8 siblings (the baby) He proposed to me on Janurary 23, 2006 after dating for 5 months and we were sealed in the Columbia River Temple May 5, 2006. He graduated from the University of Utah this last December in Geography. He just finished up an internship with Mapleton City and will finish with another at Salt Lake County next month. He has applied to mostly jobs in Utah and Washington (for obvious reasons) and has had many interviews.

We are excited for a change in our lives and now just hoping and praying for that right one to accept us!

Tim shares similar callings with me in the ward. He is a teacher in Priesthood and is a Single Adult Leader as well. We just finished planning Youth Conference for our ward. That was fun and from what i hear it turned out well! Yes, we were not able to attend that which we planned. Soon after we set the date for YC, Tim's extended family decided to do a Reunion in Kansas for Tim's Grandma who is 97 that same weekend. So we did that instead. It was so fun too! I was able to see the houses that my husband was born into and lived in, at the begining of his life! It was great to hear all of the stories and memories from Tim's family. I love having so many older siblings!
Tim loves having so many younger siblings as well (so he tells me anyway) The weekend before his reunion we had my moms side in Idaho. Which was another super fun trip! Haha, as a family we stood together to find out where we place in highth, and haha, my sweet lil'mommy is third to last! hahaha and there is still two sibling to hit their growth sperts! I just LOVE IT!

Anyways, i will hopfully post some pictures soon.
